Johnson & Johnson are a fine example of an organisation that has embraced the notion of corporate social responsibility in all its business asctivities.
Johnson & Johnson's "Healthy Communities, Healthy Ecosystems" partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) links healthy environment and the health of local people. "Supporting the health of local communities enables these communities to sustainably manage the natural resources base on which they depend," says Katarina Trojnar, corporate relations officer at WWF. As a result of their activities in this area, the organisation regularly features highly in sustainability indexes and was ranked 2nd in the Global 100 – an index of the most sustainable companies in the world.
